ABOUT ME

Hi, I’m Laura Willis, a digital wellness expert on a mission to help organisations ensure they are using technology in a sustainable way and supporting their people to do the same.

In 2016 I launched Shine Offline, the UK’s first training consultancy dedicated to helping people improve their digital wellbeing. Inspired by my own journey through digital overwhelm to create a healthier relationship with technology, I had the privilege of helping thousands of employees from all over the world. Clients included UK government bodies, the NHS, O2, Warner Brothers Disney, the Crown Prosecution Service, and nearly 30 law firms.

With a background in Social Psychology, I bring a down-to-earth, honest approach to everything I do. I’m an associate of the Mindful Business Charter, Mental Health First Aid trained, and a lived-experience speaker for MHFA England.

As a wife and mum of two, I understand first-hand the struggles families face in managing tech use at home. And as someone who works primarily from home, I’m all too familiar with the pressures of today’s always-on culture and how it affects our work life balance and wellbeing.

My goal is simple: to help people thrive in this always-connected world by offering practical solutions to improve their digital habits. I’m passionate about staying current and relevant, and love collaborating with others to make sure my work is as effective as possible.

“Laura helps us hold up a mirror to our working practices and challenge the status quo in a way which comes across as practical, commercial and never patronising. Her message around the link between wellbeing and performance really resonates.”
