How can we protect our people’s brilliance when adopting AI into the workplace?

AI is making waves in the workplace, reshaping how employees work and interact. Tools like automated processes, machine learning algorithms, and generative AI are being rolled out to free up staff for more strategic and creative tasks. However, many are already feeling the strain of managing workplace tech. But many are already struggling to ensure workplace tech is enhancing their job roles – in 2023 83% reported overwhelm in relation to their email and instant messenger feeds (Shine Offline).

As the UK Government and others push forward with AI initiatives for busines, it’s crucial for employers to step up and offer training to help employees take control of their digital habits. When technology is used right, it can truly enhance work life – but without support, companies risk sidelining the very people who drive innovation and shape the workplace of the future.
